Have a picture of my van broken down on the side of the road last summer. Stupid alternator.
Featuring my dad.
My photography is horrible.

If it makes you feel any better... Toyota problems. Taken summer of 2012,
Stranded in rush hour in Montgomery, Al(which is surprisingly a clusterfuck) 4 hours away from home in the dead of summer. It sucks riding with a tow truck driver for 4 hours. You should have seen his face when I told him where we were going. He had no clue.

Hey, I have a picture of my girlfriend's Toyota problems!
Something in the engine imploded while we were going... above the posted limit.
We weren't 4 hours away from home though.

Mine did the thing where all of a sudden the temp gauge spikes when you are a mile from the next exit and after you turn the heat on, put hazards on, and slow down to 45 in the right lane, it explodes a 1/8th mile from the exit. Fun stuff. Most awkward 4 hour ride of my life. The driver was pissed off because dispatch didn't tell him where he was going.

Granted, it had been thoroughly abused that weekend. But it is a thing they are known for.

You wouldn't happen to have the same 3.0L V6 a '98 Camry would have?

Same iron block, different aluminum heads. The Camry had more power and torque:( The Camry was a tad more reliable, just a bigger PITA to work on.

Toyota made up for it with massive amounts of Vacuum tubes and inaccessible back spark plugs because of tubes and the intake manifold.
